Questions: Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?

45% done…I lost my copy, my local library doesn’t have a copy, and I wasn’t enjoying this book enough to want to buy another copy. I would like to finish it, just to finish it…but not sure when that will happen.

I was reading the Harry Potter books aloud to my kids, we were about 21% of the way into Order of the Phoenix when they decided they don’t want me to read it to them, they want to read it on their own. And so, here I am, still 21% of the way into this one.

What are three books you want to read before the end of the year?

A book that takes place in a location name that begins with the letter J, X, Y, or Z. I haven’t completed the Dewey Decimal challenge either and still want to read a book from the 400-499 section and 800-899 section. I was planning on going to the library today, but we had freezing rain and a mess of snow so I’m not making the drive into town.

Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favourite book of the year? Ummm…not really.

Have you already started making reading plans for 2018?

I enjoyed doing the challenges from the Goodreads groups, and I still have the Fantasy Bingo Challenge going on until March 2018, but I think next year I’d like to do TBR in a jar so I can finally read the books on my shelf, KOBO, and TBR 🙂
