The meaning of the Black Cat Blue Sea Award: “This award is for bloggers who strive to write for everybody, and no matter how many viewers they get, make an impact on a reader. This award is an expression of gratitude to the nominee. It should be awarded to anybody that you choose deserves it, and it doesn’t mean that they must have hundreds of followers and likes.”

My answers:

1. What’s your favorite read of 2020 and why?
   Ooof. That’s a tough question. I loved The Silvered Serpents by Roshani Chokshi, Anxious People by Fredrik Backman, The Skin We’re In by Desmond Cole, Split Tooth by Tanya Tagaq, and Tweet Cute by Emma Lord. If I had to pick my #1 right now I’d say it would be Split Tooth by Tanya Tagaq.
   
2. If you can have brunch with one author (dead/alive), who would it be and why?
   I know it’s cliché, but I have to pick Stephen King because I’ve been a fan for almost thirty years and he’s one of the big reasons why I became such an avid reader. For almost three decades my father buys the newest King novel, reads it, then gives it to me to read. ♥
   
3. If you can give one fictional character a giant hug, who would you hug and why?
   Dante from Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe because …REASONS, just reasons. I’m not crying, you’re crying!
